When I’m sad and I find that I’m feeling so low,

Every little thing bothers me, this I know

I admit I have troubles and crosses to bear,

It sounds like I’m whining and don’t really care.

The fact is, I am hurting, my insides are churning,

Even my eyes from the tears, are burning

Thoughts and emotions, causing such struggles,

Maybe I just need to find me some snuggles?

Affection, my goodness it goes along way,

Rejoice, is the feeling when friends come to say

“Who wrote this,” “I like it! And want you to know,”

“It has good rhythm, and look how it flows!”

I don’t think they mean it they just want me to know,

That maybe it saddens them to see me so low.

If I could but return to them all that they give,

I know in my heart, they would feel the same privilege.

We all have these days when we find ourselves down,

Write a poem, put your heart in it, lift up that frown!

At Love Landia in a moment you will certainly see,

People will comment, you’ll feel better like me!

Just put it all out there, take it right off your mind,

You may actually feel so much freer inside!

And wait, look to the others who’ve posted their comment,

Then run to their aide, don’t wait, jump right on it!

I can tell you this caring that I feel returned,

Has taught me the most beautiful lesson learned.

We all need each other to guide us on our way,
