How deep is the river to your heart
In what way must I swim to get to the part
Where only you and I are there
Where there is only our world in which we care

I will find away someday
You will see that’s where I long to stay
I can only hope you keep in mind
I’m your friend for all time

Always will you be the only man to me
Give me the chance to prove it , you’ll see
I’m afraid of pushing you
But you need to know my heart is true

I wake up everyday and see only your face
But so alone I feel in this empty place
I long to feel your kiss
Is this an opportunity I’ll miss

You say your leaving and don’t want to hurt me
But I lied to you and said ok I would be
I wish I could beg you to stay
But I know in my heart it doesn’t work that way

Maybe in time you will see me as someone special to you
But until that I’ll sit back and remain true

I’m not that easy to take to bed
