Throughout the day,
I just don't know
If I can go on this way.

I'm tossing and turning
In someone else's bed,
With memories of you
racing in my head.

I thought we were over
I thought we were done,
Who was I kidding
You are the only one.

I am aching to feel
your breath on my skin,
your hands and your lips
to have you hold me again.

You can call it destiny
You can call it fate,
But I think this has been
Long enough for us to wait.
