WHY?

a beginning to an end
an end to a good-bye
you left me asking  questions
you left me asking why?


why?...do i drowned myself in pain
why?...do i cry at night?
why?... do you say its forever
but all you wanna do is fight?


a deep ache covered by a pretend smile
a dream of true happiness
i havnt felt in awhile


a untold truth
that has me on my knees
i ask why?
but, all you do is lie to me

so here i kneel to
a meaningless life
i dream of forever
but we ended last night
