Lately loves been all aroune me, in everything I see.
And I wanted to give you something very special just from me.
So I sat and tried to think of something wonderful to send,
I'll send you a valentine, postmarked: HEAVEN.
This tiny walentine is carried on angels wings,
as it's delivered the halleluiah chorus sings.
My valentine lies in your comforting hands,
there's no signature at the bottom but I know you understand.
You open each tiny fold as God unfolds a rose,
On it is a poem titaled Love Comes But Never Goes.
You stare for awhile wondering "is this really true?"
Yes Grandpa, I sent this valentine all the way up to you.
It was just this morning when you were looking down,
you saw valentines being sent all over town.
From your cloud you saw the mailmanrunning everywhere,
you were lonely and thought no one had extra love to share.
I know you're watching over me, I read it in a Psalm,
all my thanks and love to you is lying in your palm.
The sun shines down on me and there's no question,
I know you got my valentine postmarked: HEAVEN.
