Love is an emotion
but it's really so much more..
Isn't LOVE what life's about?
and isn't LOVE what life is for?

I just want to take one last chance
before I close the door on romance
To dream one last hopeful dream
before resolving to the life I deplore

Was I wrong for dreaming...
and for hoping life might be more?
Wishing that life was shared with joy
and that it might be more than a thankless chore?

You touched me and I cannot forget
the feeling that I've felt since we spoke and met
You're the one I feel made for

These emotions, I cannot hide
or erase them from my heart evermore
You've somehow gently touched my very core
Each day that passes I seem to miss you more

I'm forever a friend who dreams of loving you more
Your soft vision dances in my heart
I Just want you to know the score...
When you're near my hopes seem to soar

You're special to me and its you I adore
