Love can be full of uncertainty and doubt

But there’s no need for us to sit and pout

We must be ourselves and give what we feel

We have been wrong before and our heart did heal

They say it is better to have love and lost

But how many times and what’s the cost?

Do we get scared and not love with our heart

We think with our head, but is this really smart?

You have feelings that seem oh so strong

But hold them back, it just seems wrong

We risk losing what is pure and true

If you cant accept what I feel for you

No one is looking for feelings overnight

But if your heart is there, why fight?

A commitment is not needed for us to feel

That’s not what I need to know you’re real

Commitment will be built with time and trust

But feelings have to be there, this is a must

Days go by and you’re always on my mind

Yes it’s this feeling I wanted to find

 But pressure you Is something I wont do

You must do what you feel is best for you

I have patience that will soon come to an end

I just hope not before losing such a sweet friend
