True Friends

 
A true friend means a lot to a person. They are always there by your side when you need it most. They stand up for you no matter what. True friends tell the truth when it matters even if it embarrasses them. True friends compliment and criticize. When you have a true friend you’ll never have to go through anything alone. Through thick and thin, good and bad, laughs and cries, a true friend will always be by your side. True friends don’t judge, blackout, or make you feel down. True friends listen well and speak when it counts. You can trust your true friend with secrets just as they trust you with theirs. A true friend knows when to be funny and when to be serious but no matter what they will make you cheer up. True friends respect your emotions as well as your decisions. Just like food, water, and shelter, a true friend is a necessity. So, never let you true friend go it alone because you are their true friend as well.

my friend wrote this one 2.. he actualy wrote it for me cuz one of my... well not ex-friends was treating me really bad... and he seen that. so this poem means alot to me... it's not exactly a poem but its close.. :)
