To the one I hold dear

In to the night when the darkness makes me vulnerable
I long for your hand to hold.
There are some things about you I don't understand
But that might take forever to unfold.

Even with the miles which separate us and the fact we have not yet met
My heart you have stolen from me
And I wait here for you so patiently.
This emotion in my heart for you grows stronger each day
I love you with all my heart please tell me that you'll stay
I’ll give you what I can
I’ll give you what you need
As long as you promise to do the same for me.
And though some things I’d like to say
May not come out right
Perhaps I’ll save them for another day
When my mind gets them insight
So for now keep this thought with you
You have someone here who will always love you.
