She watched him as he slept
not wanting this moment to end.
it was intoxicating
he was like a breath of fresh air in her turmoiled life
he knew not only who she was
but everything else she wanted to be
he promised her he would give her the world
but the world was not enough for her
he was enough
she told him that
he just smiled..
she pretended to sleep
while he explored her
his lips finding their way up to her own
his caresses moving in time with her heart
she smiled to herself
this was the 'man'
he was the one.

She closed her eyes at last
how did she end up here?
why did she let it come to this point?

She was in love
he loved her toO, she could feel it
but he would never leave his wife
he'd been with her for ten years, he said
He couldnt just leave

He was enough for her,
he smiled when she said it
that's all he could do
he loved this woman
if only she knew how much.


He looked down at her
Exploring this beautiful soul one last time
He wanted to give her the world
because he loved her
but it pained him so,
cause what she wanted most
he couldn't give her.
He was gonna leave her.
His wife. He was gonna end it. Just like that!
Ten years of no love. gone. No loss there

But that was yesterday.

Today, his wife was pregnant.
