Loving someone far away makes us physically lonely and the memory of their embrace is only some comfort to their actual embrace. But the longing is also sweet, a reminder of how precious they are to us. It's a time to have faith in their love and to hope they also have faith in ours. It is the love that matters most and the comfort is knowing that the reunion will be sweet.
