I was there when Abraham ask mercy for the ten he never knew, I was there when Moses made the sea part in two.  I was there when David slew Goliath with a stone so round and when the fire was set that brought our Temple down.  I walk as a slave when we were driven away but rejoiced in Spain during our Golden days... I stood there when the Inquisition was king and watch my family slowly taken from me.  I have travel long and around this great divide, Sought out many countries where I did seek to hid. I always kept faith for a brighter day even when the Cossacks took my children away...  I was there in Treblinka and Dachau; the stench of dearth hovering all around and sang Hatikvah on the day of days when at last I came home to the land that was taken away.  Oh yes I am a Jew and will not be denied; the same small measure that all seek to strive.  I will never go again gently into the abbess and will fight for the right to truly exist. The blood that courses though my soul has kept this ancient people alive and aglow. It will keep on beating, it will never die and the sound of our hearts will be heard till the end of time...
