The awe of seeing Kyle
again and the utmost comfort of being next to her; that’s all it took to wash
away the pain that has endured for several days. He feels his energy is coming
back. He feels alive again. While they sit side by side their arms would at
times bump into each other. The warmth is soothing. The intensity of his
affection for Kyle, he’s feeling it again. Suddenly, the passion becomes
overwhelming…he steals a kiss…Kyle kisses back…and they went fleeting out from
the real world. He wraps his arms around her as though it’s been years since
they last saw each other. Butter flies are again flying around them.

“Do you love me?” Kyle
asks

“Yes, I do. I told you
several times” he said

“But you haven’t said
that to me in person. Look at me and say it”

Seconds pass. But
katyu can’t seem to articulate 3 simple words. Kyle becomes impatient.

“Why can’t you say
it??” she says displeased

It’s no wonder why
katyu is having trouble saying it. It’s a fact that “I love you’s” are pretty
easy to say when you don’t mean it or when you’re used to saying it to your
partner. The hard part is when it’s real and when you’re saying it for the
first time.

“Katyu I want to hear
it. Not on the phone. I want it right here, right now” she pleaded

Gently, solemnly he
whispers, “I love you”

Kyle wears a smile
sweeter than ever.

“Wow! You’re blushing
katyu! Why are you blushing?!” she uttered

“No I’m not”

“Oh, yes you are! Look
at you! You’re all red!”

“I am?! Darn.”

Katyu is so
embarrassed. He blushed. Like when a high school kid blushes when in an awkward
situation with a crush. There’s no denying it now. Katyu’s affection for Kyle
is real. It revealed itself right before her very eyes.

And on the way home Kyle
continues to tease him.

“You blushed, katyu!
Hahaha!” she yelled teasingly

“Shut up Kyle!”

They embraced.
