The end of all things

A fire slowly dies

As the world begings to freeze

No one will sleep tonight

No one is at ease

Mothers take their children

And bundle then in layers

While fathers go to church

And say their last prayers

Husbands tell their wifes

That their love will never die

Lovers unite their bodies

For the last night they'll be alive

Loners seek a listener

Someone to be a friend

Before the dying world

Slowly comes to an end

Animals roam the streets

But there is no safe place

Any living creature

Will be captive in deaths embrace

Daughters run to mothers

And say thank you for all they've done

Sons run to their fathers

And get praised for what they've become

A candle burns out slowly

The flame dies in the night

And soon everybody know

The end is here tonight

The oceans stop there waves

Everything is quiet and still

Loved ones hold eachother

While the lonesome enjoy the thrill

The world is consumed in darkness

One last child cries

An explosion entraps the world

And no one will survive.
