The dreamers kiss

I dreamed a dream
and saw you here,
your tempid pools,
your parchment hair.

Longing spilled
from my wells being
overcome my deep dispair
as real as ever I have known
I only know that you were there.

I kissed you gently on the cheek
In dreams as these I cannot speak
nor fear for death that cannot be
nor deny the heart it's liberty.

Then as Now as evermore
I am fulfilled in this
My kingdom begs for release
imparted in the dreamer kiss.

Love the way this flows and rhymes. Sometimes dreams of love or the memory of a kiss or the anticipation of one....the longing is so tangible it becomes real. I think this poem could bring someone back to that place.
