The difference

I look up at you,
But you're looking down.
I smile,
You frown.
Something is wrong here,
We are obviously too different.
I say I need a break,
You say it'll be permanent.
That's not what I want,
Not even close.
I want you and only you,
But I don't believe I'm ready.
I am not IN love with you,
But I have love towards you.
If you don't want us to last,
Let me know now.
I can't shed every tear,
Just for you.
But the past couple of days,
That's exactly what I've been doing.

This is also a poem I wrote awhile ago. I like this one because although it's short, it explains alot.
