The Word: Love

Love is a complicated word
That can have a lot of different meanings.
It can make you happy,
Or make you have many sleepless evenings.

You can love
A pet, relative, or boy.
But sometimes, they abuse your heart,
And leave it like an old toy.

All the crying;
All the heartbreaks.
It makes you wonder
Why you fell in love in the first place.
