As I reflect back to the very First Moment,

I want you to realize exactly where I hold it,

Time has a way of revealing the past, but it can’t predict the Future,

Only the One who holds it within his hands.

As I walked through the door, unsure of what I knew,

I couldn’t help but notice, an angel across the room,

I sat down right beside her, looking at her binder,

Hoping that she didn’t have a picture that reminds her,

Of her within his arms, when she was sad, or when they’d laugh,

A mystery of their past, one that I only wished I could have,

But as I stared and I searched, the picture just wasn’t there,

and she was unaware, of how much I truly cared,

She really couldn’t know, because I did not show,

My life, the goals, you and I, there was no road.

I was willing to leave behind, everything my heart denied,

For what I knew I’d find, nothing else mattered in my mind,

The hope beneath all the doubt, that you had found in me,

Helped me see a man, I’d never thought that I would be,

Most people use pictures to remember all their moments,

We use the words in our letters to paint the pictures that only you and I hold in,

Faded memories? that all depends on you and me,

What it is you choose to see, in who we are,

Are we like burned out stars?

No matter how far from where we are, our love will still shine,

throughout all space and all of time, you’ll always be on my mind,

I’ve searched inside your soul, and saw us beside the shore,

Your hair blowing in the wind, and my finger tips on your skin,

I could still feel your breath, breathing softly on my neck,

With your hand upon my chest, I smiled, waited, then gave you a kiss,

I knew what I had, the girl I wanted so bad,

I almost shattered, the heart that truly mattered in fact,

They say if something’s broken, it can always be fixed,

But hearts just can’t if the feelings are mixed,

I almost lost you, because I just wasn’t convinced,

Until that one day, as I felt your heart break as it split

It was then that I saw, I already had it All, she was it.

All I needed to give was my heart completely in It.

She was perfect, and in every worth it my best friend,

And I’ll love you with all my heart, till the end.

Your silent, but your feelings always show, you never hide them,

I wanted the heart that could reveal the person in which it lies in,
