The Light

Once as a thought
In the back of my mind
Alone, in the search
Of an answer to find,
A resolution to my pain
I so constantly seek,
An aid to my heart
That had lead me to weep

I once thought I knew
What the answer could be
Yet my thoughts were crushed
By a fog I could see
Deep in the depth
I found a way
To answer my Question.
T’Was the light of day.

And then what had once seemed so far away
As to be answered in my latter days
Had become so clear
I know could see
The answer to my question
Was deep within me

So with my problem solved
Being no longer alone
All that was left
Was to make my way home.
