TV SHOPPING

At night I seem to be wide awake

Which really is a big mistake

Because I turn on the TV

To see what they are trying to sell to me

This poem I just had to write

Because it was the middle of the night

And I was reaching for the telephone

"Not again" I heard me moan

I was about to buy The Singers and Songwriters Collection

Which seems to be a great selection

Of songs that really appeal to me

I'll probably purchase it eventually

My first purchase from the TV

Was a thing called Mega Memory

I think this worked out OK

As I still use techniques from it today

Next was probably the Ab Doer

Then the Abs Revolutioniser, it's even newer

A couple of other abs machines

And I've got the worst abs you've ever seen

My last purchase was called MyGym

I got it to help me get fit and slim

I thought it would happen instantly

Silly silly silly me

And the gym doesn't do it on its own

"Bloody Hell" you'll hear me moan

I have to do bench presses and stuff

It's not easy, it's really tough

Now there's one thing that's caught my eye

And it I'm really desperate to buy

And you'll never guess what they have done

Offered two for the price of one

How can I resist an offer like this?

Such a bargain I will not miss

So the Magic Bullet is in my sight

I'll probably purchase it tonight
