THEM NOT HER

To know her, you must know them
Each an individual, and yet they are one

One who lives as if in light
soft, sweet, honest and shy

One lives as if in dark
hard, mean, dishonest and sly

Each one living independently
her own way of life
while the other slumbers
as though it were night

all family and friends are so unaware
that she's not just one
but these two are a pair.
