Sanctuary

Eyes stared as the bud came into fruition
petals opened out and embraced the light
the scent so potent and rich
such beauty transcends all else
another fixture

All around
light captivated them
nature nurtured then
they were one
unified

Children laughed and played
harps soothed them with its soft melodies
plucked to the rhythm of their hearts

Pollution was an extinct species.

The air a pure substance
that they engulfed with each breath
a constant leisure
the dark was not a predator
to be afraid was impossible
there was no fear

As light was embraced so too was darkness
the night brought with it such wondrous things
lights filled the sky
pinpricks clustered around
spherical whiteness

creatures of the night
serenaded with lullabies of love
happiness was rife

in this place
there was no good or evil
just light and dark
black and white
colours in all sorts too

no segregration
no manipulation
no jealousy
no hatred

Equality was law.

my place of dreams
my place of solitude.

Wow comming along in your writing I see. Very vivid. Very peaceful **Slow Exhale, Slow Inhale** This was very good.

This peace you carry in heart in mind
One day this place, you will find
No foot steps take you
No road to travel
From your heart this world unravels

Your place of Dreams
Your Place of Solace
