Reality

What is reality to the individual man?
We build our world onto our own plan,
Hiding behind a mask of our making,
Failing to see the world is breaking,

Isnpecting the world through tinted lenses,
Looking over our cracking defenses,
Chaos looms like a darkened cloud,
Blinded we are by the crowds,

Reality is to our own making,
We look over the fact that we continue taking,
Creating rifts in our world,
But the mask hides us making it distorted and swirled,

And so we fail to see reality as a whole,
Until it shatters like a bowl.

If only the leaders of countries knew and understood this we could have a better world! Nice poem...

Its not just the leaders although I have to agree they need to work on it,
but we all have become part in the blame game rather than to take responsibility of your own actions.

Your poem is great and says more in short than most people say in a 3 hour speech.....
