When the only heart they had, fell all apart.
How can one ever say, what love really is?

How can one person make you feel so glad,
Then in just one day, make you feel so sad,
How could the love that brought such pleasure, bring such misery?
How could something so great, be something not meant to be?
How could they just walk out the door, and not love you anymore?

How can you look them in the eyes, and care so much?
Then watch them hold the very person you know you Used to be Once.
How could someone forget that period of time in their life?
When before they used to say, I want you to be my wife.
How can someone destroy the very dreams you both built,
Then leave you feeling as if your worthless with all the guilt?
How could Others tear what you both had, Apart,
Then leave you both wishing that you both just listened to your heart.
How can love be so strong, and make you feel that what you have will never End.
Then leave you wondering, Will my heart ever Mend?
