Well do your dreams ever come tru? Mine do so I would take this as a pyschic episode..but if they don't it probably means that your guilt for deceiving your father is telling you that you are risking losing someone you love..most likely your fathers trust, an honest heart will not rest, don't lie

If he dont treat you right, your dad just might indeed kill him, what kind of feelings do you have about your dad, is he too overprotective? The answer will come from within.

Don't break his(and your own)heart!It may sound stupid to you now but try this:PRAY!!Pray to Jesus,He knows the answer to everything!If you give your hand to Him He WILL take it,and hold it every step of the way!Trust me on this one,He loves you,He will help you without a doubt!..

Will try this:
Ask your father why he did that? And listen to his point of view may he see your boyfriend in a bad place or bad people, may be he found something not good about him.
However you have this bad dream because you love your father and you do not want to lay to him.

(thanks4 commenting on my story:P) i think u should talk w/your dad also. Im sure u have tryed but thats what u half to keep doing bc if this guy is some1 u really want in your life then keep talking with your dad.

This advise is a little after the face...but for anyone else reading.....Never betray your father. A good father will never betray his daughter or knowingly give her bad advice. He is able to see things you don't see.
Unfortunately you risk losing the trust your father. I will say that no man should stand between a father and his daughter. Most daughters do not realize until later how much they are loved by their fathers and unfortunately the damage done to the relationship may not ever mend. The sadness over lying to and hurting your father will come back to you as your own sadness in time. I guess I'm saying ...your father loves you more than you can understand or imagine. I think your dream was a reminder of the tragedy of lying to one who loves you...foresaking him for one who may not have your best interests at heart

my dad forbid me from seeing the first guy i ever fell in love with. so, i pretty much know how this feels... the best bet for you, which i hate to say is to listen to your dad now. i know it's hard, but your dad loves you and is only trying to protect you from a danger he might see. it hurts, but it's not goodbye for ever, it's see you later. In the future you two may be able to reconnect, but staying together will get you into more trouble than you need, trust me. i had stayed with the guy behind my dad's back, and in the end things didn't work out anyway. i got in more trouble than i would've by listening to my dad, and it sucks. i lost his trust and respect. two or three years down the road now, me and that guy are still friends, and my dad trusts me again. it looks bad now, but it's better than what you will have by decieving your father. I hate to say it, and i know it will hurt, but from my experience, that's your best bet. Whatever you decide, may God be with you.
