Only In A Dream...


	She walks by as a sudden surprise Her beauty caught my eyes I followed her down the street Hoping to catch her off her feet There was something about her that made me want more As she vanished when she closed the door I chased after her only to find a stair well Lurking inside was nothing but her sensational smell Trying to fall asleep Her attractiveness had me counting sheep I woke up the next morning her smell filled my room Wondering how, I began looking for any perfume To find nothing I went outside Looking for any kind of guide Yet nothing there I continued on with my day Hoping she’ll come my way Day turned into night She was never in sight As I tried to sleep She still had me counting sheep This time with a dream I was sitting near a stream With someone beside me It was her and we were sitting beneath a tree She shined so bright As she was all dressed in white Our hands were held together Her skin was soft as a feather Didn’t know how to take this in Her heart I wanted to win We went to a house nearby There we laid down looking at the sky We looked into each others eyes I got the sweetest feeling of butterflies My hands gently touched her face As we kissed at this beautiful place The sun began to set She said she had to jet I asked for her name She said it doesn’t matter im no one to claim She disappeared into the dark night Feeling all lonely, I filled with fright Ding Ding my alarm rings Only in a dream I have beautiful things
