 | Little friend of mine,
In my graceful green eye,
How you've always been there.
...
You cared about me,
You brought me happiness,
When things were looking down.
Everyday went by,
Each you cherished me so,
And I adored you, loved you.
Right here, right now,
You ask of me, for more,
And I’m standing on shaky ground.
I’m weak at the knees,
Your eyes gazing into my own,
Your ears hanging on every word.
Little friend, little angel,
Never did I think twice about,
And now more then ever, confused.
Too young, too innocent,
But my old and weary soul yearns,
And I stand on shaky ground.
Your eyes so eager,
It’s hard to say no, let go,
But I can not deny you of this.
Heaven forbid,
This choice I must make now,
A hell in one moment's trap.
I’m truly speechless,
Can I ask for more time?
Oh the eternity, I would need.
Forever to decide,
An eternity you can not wait,
And I’m still without an answer.
As the twinkle fades,
From your dream pale blue eyes,
I know what I have to do.
I ask the impossible,
Remain best of friends and let's see,
To what tomorrow may hold in store. | |
