Though dignity paid for the cost
To earn your apathetic frost
My shattered hope, just so you know
Hurt nothing like your silent blow

So hearing you had naught to say
Brought speculation into play
To show me that your cold disdain
Was stemming from my tired pain

For all of me reflects in you
Regardless what you say or do
And every day I Love you more
You distance further than before

Since life without me fills your plate
With loneliness I'll meet my fate
Before resentment lets you see
