Floral painted lady bugs
Feign neoteric doors
As narcissistic avenues
Contriving metaphors

Jaded notes of dissonance
Abstracting clever tones
Break a silent bitterness
Not laughing funny bones

Jumping from a tired breeze
Derides kvetching rain
Nothing too redundant though
Apart from stabbing pain

And masquerading arrogance
As autocratic pride
Suppresses creativity
Awakening inside

But innovating ecstasy
Before poetic grace
Disregards my honesty 
As truth you wouldn't face
