My Life as a Teachers Kid

5:17 still at school and wanting to go home

Sitting in the office lobby waiting all alone

Father is still in a meeting so I have to wait for him

I look outside the window its no longer bright it's really dim

I wish I had wings to fly out of this office lobby

People passing look at me like waiting is my hobby

This is how it feels to be a teachers child

I'm always waiting and it's driving me wild

Finally is past 9:00 and I'm finally going home

Until tomorrow I'll have to wait in the lobby again all alone
