My Friend

My friend is someone who's been through alot.
He's not perfect, by no means, but I love him all the same.
My friend and I have had our fights,
where we didn't even talk for months.
but now, just yesterday, we laughed just like old times.

My friend is finally my friend again,
and I'm so full of joy.
We've finally patched things up,
and left the past in the past.
