My Darling and the Sea

Not much of a set meter, but I tried to make the relative disorder be reflective of the narrator's pained and confused thoughts...

My Darling and the Sea

She always wore blue when she was with me
Most often we’d just sit and stare at the sea
Until that gloomy day on the 3rd of November
The day conjures more sorrow than I’d care to remember

My Darling drifted out to sea
Will she ever come back to me?

Like sparkling sapphires were her eyes
As blue as the ocean that invoked her demise
With hair alike to the warm bright sun
Her beauty was of no other, my only one

My Darling drifted out to sea
Will she ever come back to me?

She must have been of celestial birth
For no one else can rival her worth
Our love was a love like an evergreen fern
Forever and ever for her I will burn

My Darling drifted out to sea
Will she ever come back to me?

Why oh why did you have to leave me
Stranded and alone on the shore by the sea

You were an angel come to set me free
From the chains of longing and misery

My eyes are enchanted and all they can see
Are your bright eyes as you were taken from me

My Darling you drifted out to sea
Won’t you please come back to me?

When a heart pours out so fast, you dont even feel the blood run out ,so you try to stop it before the body runs dry.If words spoken make you laugh live a day in my one shoe and then see if you could stay.Doubt runs through my mind if you would make it to the next day.Love cant be judged 9yr old
