Muse

Who is this fool inside of me
That wants to write all this poetry

It flows from my brain to my fingertips
And there on the keyboard it really rips

I whip out a number in a few minutes flat
I wonder what to think of that

I channel thoughts from who knows where
Some of them soothe, some of them scare

My spirit guide must be my muse
And lets me know what words to choose
