 | They just could not take it anymore they had to be together, in each others arms, even just for a little bit. They secretly planned to meet up for the fire works on the Fourth of July. Unfortunately, the plans fell through; they had seen each other for about five minutes before Miss Average’s Father found them and went on a drunken rampage yelling and choking Mr. Amazing. Miss Average tried to pull him away and screamed at him to stop but was pushed onto the ground. Thank god no one was hurt, except for the relationship between Miss Average and her father. She ran off tears streaming down her face and would not, for the life of her get into the car with the drunk, but was eventually forced to.
It was that same night that Miss Average realized she had never met her sober Father; and until her Grandpa was diagnosed with cirrhosis, she hadn’t known him sober either. She must not have been the only one to realize it because the Alcoholism stopped around that same time. She no longer saw the normal Twenty-Four packs of Busch Light disappear over night. Her father did end up apologizing to Mr. Amazing, but he still was not happy with their decision to sneak around.
Miss Average knew they had blown it. There were slim chances that they could be together now. Yet they still tried to talk every chance they could. They knew what they wanted, each other. But it seemed that it could no longer be an option. So that fall when school started, they decided to try going their separate ways. It was a very hard and bad decision. They still talked once and a while, just as friends. Now, Miss Average had a new boyfriend which made it kind of hard.
This new boyfriend Hommie seemed nice, they had a lot of fun together but she knew it wouldn’t last. She did not feel the bond at all, like she had with Mr. Amazing. This made her reluctant to press forward in the relationship. Good thing she didn’t, it had only been two months and he had already cheated on her three times. Well, cheated may not be the right word. While they were going out he kissed three other girls and lied straight to her face. She did not want to be alone though, because she had recently lost a best friend and felt like he was all she had now. She kept forgiving him; always taking him back, even though he hurt her. After the third time she decided it was over. No more strikes.
She did not regret the relationship though; she had made a lot of new friends through Hommie. One night, she went to a party with a couple of them (Friend1 and Friend2). She lied to her parents and said she was staying at a girl’s house from soccer. Everyone there was spending the night at the party, including Miss Average’s Ex, Hommie. She did not feel like falling for him again, so her and the two friends she was with went to another friend- Sir TooStrong’s house to spend the night... |  |
