this is a poem i wrote

A lovers heart never dies
Even with all your lies
I may be broken for a brief moment
I wont let you keep me in hates torment
For i will love again
As surly as we began
I will fall in love with some one new
This time it won't be you
I have changed
My life has rearranged
I have grown from my pain
I know longer fill insane
My tears have stopped falling
I hear true love calling
Romance is in the air
I have no more despair
In the end you will see
I am as happy as can be

Some men are not wired to be one-women men.
He might love you very much. Most cannot understand how this is possible.
The thing is he may not be ready to settle.
The fact that he told you not to fall in love means he doesn't wish to hurt you
but he love your company, your friendship and something about you.
It doesn't necessarily mean he's using you.

You take a chance with a man like him.
He may make you feel better than any other man you could meet.
He may care about you deeply and if you leave you may both feel deeply hurt.
But if you stay you run the risk of being hurt too if he chooses another over you.
This is the territory you're in...he's unlikely to change overnight.....Also....do you really wish to change him if you may lose him in the process.


In the end, men come back to the place that feels most like home. That could be you. Men can be deeply caring and affectionate. Their true feeling run very deep but aren't often voiced. But you must realize, as you probably do, that they are wired differently.

Too much emphasis on exclusivity will surely push him away. As men grow older this changes a little and they begin to look more for that sense of home. If you give a man a secure home for his heart he may stray but he will most always return to you.

My guess is he does care about you but is not yet at the same point you are.
