Lullaby Hum

I try not to move while I listen to your hum
The softness of your subtle serenade
Pretending that the end won't come
Hoping that your sound won't fade
The lullaby for me it has made

My eyes grow heavy but I still won't move
Sitting up and falling asleep
Why I love this I cannot prove
Why your voice is like a trance so deep
And when it suddenly ends I want to weep

Stop the world!I hear the sound!
Of your humming. No words just your tune
That's candy to my ears it will surround
So soothing like the shy moon
It ends so calm but will come back soon.
