 | " Lovers and Friends "
I did not see you, when we first had met, Your soul seemed dim, full of absent light. Unaware of what lies ahead, we place our bet. Within each other we seem to find pure delight.
We both carry around a broken spirit, Together...we may set our hearts free. We've grown closer now, and we're feelin it, Will we share a new love, or will we flee ?
I hope you always remain close to me, I know you now and I can see your truth. I like what I see, never knowing what will be, With you, my heartache has begun to soothe.
I am so real, and my thoughts run deep. I will seek out the mystery that is you. Will you stay with me, while I lay asleep. These feelings are getting harder to subdue.
Will we become lovers, or just remain friends? A fresh start with a friend, as the torture finally ends. With this poem, my loving friendship I do send. There is no need for us to pretend... For without truth, this will surely come to an end.
