Its simple things that make me smile

Like a girl I’ve known only a short while

Just a thought of her puts a smile on my face

So caring, and sweet, full of beauty and grace

I have a feeling that warms me so

One look from her my hearts a glow

She has to know just how I feel

Not to scare her, but see I am real

When together I hold her tight

When apart, it’s such a long night

Dreaming of when she’s in my arms again

Her touch so sweet id hate for it to end

Thoughts of her make time stand still

But if its time she needs, wait I will

She is worth my time and so much more

I will cherish the day she opens the door

I can understand that the door may not open

For that to happen is something I’m not hoping

But it won’t change how she touched my heart

I will forever remember her even if we part

I will give my all for what time I get

And never will my heart feel regret

I will forever be happy for sharing our time

As someone special I’ve met, even if not mine
