This Distance is haunting me like a ghost

It’s not this feeling I’m prepared to host

So far away yet so close to my heart

That’s where I hold you when apart

Sweet dreams and loving thoughts of you

When I’m in this state I just can’t feel blue

Distance makes the heart grow fonder

I feel the growth, our love I ponder

At times it may feel like you don’t care

Then a warm hug and kiss we share
