We proudly announce a series of poetry contests dedicated each month to one event, the holiday.

For June, we have chosen Father’s Day to be the theme for your brilliant poems and quotes. All of you should have received a newsletter with the contest information.

Here is the preliminary calendar for the year with the Events we suggest for the contest themes:

1. Father’s Day – June 15, 2008
2. Halloween – October 31, 2008
3. Thanksgiving Day – November 27, 2008
4. Christmas Day – December 25, 2008
5. New Year’s Day – January 1, 2009
6. St. Valentines Day – February 14, 2009
7. World Poetry Day – March 21, 2009
8. Mother’s Day – May 10, 2009

Planned awards:

a) mass mailer with a list of the 10 poems voted best (authors usernames)
b) a list of the winners at LoveLandia.com

The idea behind the contests is energizing LoveLandia community life with a nice project and get as many participants involved as possible. We are calling for your comments, suggestions, and ideas.
