 | Calling all the lonely hearts, Looking for someone who is caring. True friendship, it only starts, When you become a little daring.
Like you, there are many quite alone, Looking for someone to call their own. To love, care and share in thought, Moments in time, that can never be bought.
But first to them you must send, A message by letter, phone or friend. And if to meet them you do intend, Ask them, if time with you they'll spend.
When at last you finally meet, In a park or coroner of the street, You may be shaking from head to toe, But very soon you will clearly know.
If a new friend you have won, By their laughs and smiles when having fun. Listening to them talk of their lonely years, Relaxes them and quells their fears.
No one can tell from the initial meeting, If your word is Gospel or the moment fleeting. Through trial and error they want to know, If your heart is true or full of woe.
So arrange to meet them once again, With a telephone call or note by pen. If your lives you are destined to share, Show by your words you truly care.
