Little Girl It breaks my heart to see you this way You touch me And it hurts to see you cry
Little Girl You're beautiful inside Don't you realize It hurts to see the sadness in your eyes
Little Girl You were meant to laugh and smile hold my hand and cry if you want to and let go of the pain for a little while
When you're near I feel you in my heart and seeing you this way I fall apart
Little girl Come near and rest your head on my shoulder I understand the pain, though I'm older You were meant to laugh and smile
Our soft hearts were not made for this world so hard and lonely and rough You shouldn't have to make yourself so tough because nobody loved you enough
Little girl I mean the little girl inside of you let me comfort you and remind you that you deserve to be loved
Little girl inside It breaks my heart to see you this way you touch me and it hurts to see you cry
