Fairytales and starlit skies
Once danced in my heart and in my eyes
But all my love has turned to cries

No holding hands. No times spent with one
Who understands
Heart breaks again, I'm not the one
Lately love is on the run
Everything is broken or undone

I don't want someone to sympathize
I don't want to hear more lies
I just want someone who loves me for me
Isn't the way things were supposed to be
I thought somehow she would  find me

Moonbeams shine across the sky
Here alone in my room amidst my sighs
I pray to God and ask him why
