 | You and I shall forever be, Real good friends for all to see. Happily did we meet through fate, On a blind and nervous date.
There were many times of trial, When our feelings ran high, without denial. Lots of words were tossed about, But never did we raise a shout.
Although your life was never easy, Your lovely temperament was always breezy. Never once did I see you low, Your rhythm for life was a steady flow.
Your photograph stands pride of place, I give you a wink when I look at your face. I see that happy look in your eye, The one I'll always remember you by.
I hope you will remember, How me met in September. And the times that we had, Made us ever so glad.
