Darkness crawls its way to the heart

As it would across the sky

It becomes darker and darker

As the sun creeps on by

Loneliness makes its way to the soul

As a young girl cries

It becomes stronger and stronger

As her last love dies

Jealousy creeps its way into the body

As a loving couple say their vows

It becomes more frequent

As long as the body allows

Hatred seeps its way into the veins

As friends and family give a fake smile

It becomes angrier

As if they'd actually give a mile
