This is a poem about my little sister...the past week or so she has came home with "cat scratches" from my neighbor's kitten but sometimes I wonder if she is following in my footsteps and that hurts so much. I push her away so much becuz she looks up to me and she knows about my past and I don't want her to do that....
I know I should believe her but I know I used to say "it's just scratches from the cat"
lame excuse but if you don't have the mind of a cutter...you don't think of it! but sometimes I wonder....
I haven't cut in over a year but I hope she knows she can count on me even if I do push her away....

just some gumbled thoughts as I sat here and saw some more "cat scratches" marked on her arms.
