I remember years past
All the good things you wished would last
Like jobs, cars and everlast
I remember talking to my mom,
She told me the only question you
Don’t ask is the one that’s dumb
I remember working a fine job
But beware, where’s the mob
I remember flying so high
Peeping out the window and seeing the sky
I remember my best friend
Thinking the friendship would never end
I remember meeting my wife
A talented girl, so very nice
I remember saying I do
To take this girl forever with you
I remember the birth of my son
13 years later he’s still the one
I remember being in a war
All it left me was a scar
I remember the spices of life
Today my best friend is my wife
That goes to show you without despair
To be really happy, it’s a family affair
The moral of this poem; what I’m trying to say
Life memories will always stay
I hope for you it’s a pleasant one
Memories that last forever;
The ones that’s always fun . |
