My Darling, I don't have to say
You know exactly who you are
you're the one
I've searched for near and far

I never thought
I'd find my way
I never thought I could
so I just followed my heart
Lord knows I've tried to do some good
but it always works out
works out just the same
I'm always left alone to cry
why others play their games

But darling this was different this time
