I Want

I wrote this for my boyfriend, Danny, on October 7, 2004:

I want to know
How you feel.
I want to know
If this is real.

Are you the one?
The one I've been looking for?
If so,
Please show me more.

And if not,
You have to let me go.
But if you don't tell me,
How will I ever know?

You don't know how much it hurts,
To not know your true feelings.
You either love me or you don't.
If you don't, my heart is breaking.

If you can't tell me how you feel,
How can you expect me to have feelings for you?
I thought I did,
But I don't want to lose you.
