Letters unanswered
guess you don't see me as real
as I see you
thought you needed someone
to help you get through
It hurts to be disregarded
discarded
when I saw good in you
and tried to lend a helping hand
to sit down, to be someone to you
But now I know you don't need a friend
guess I know that's true
You didn't really see me at all
or feel me
but I felt you
It hurts somehow I confide
to see another hurting, so
I open my heart wide
but even though I tried
I feel the hurt
and emptiness inside
Guess I said enough
I never knew it could feel so rough
I was just passing through
but along the way, you were someone
I'm pretty sure it meant something too
But I'm not sure what it is
but only know this is true:
I felt you
I don't like goodbyes
but I know, I must go
but will still think of you
if you recall, you'll know its true
you weren't invisible to me
you were a real person, I know
I couldn't help but to care
though it was suicide
kindness; I tried
my fate now... I feel so blue
You say nobody knows you
That may be true, but
strangers now
We'll run and hide
But know inside, I tried
whenever you cried
I felt you
